Abstract
CCSI and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) have released The Role of IPAs in Advancing Sustainable Development, summarizing survey responses of IPAs regarding sustainable foreign direct investment (FDI). The survey results indicate that IPAs recognize both the crucial role of FDI in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the role of IPAs for facilitating that sustainable development.
CCSI and WAIPA also conducted a survey of IPAs in 2010. The report based on the findings is entitled, Investment Promotion Agencies and Sustainable FDI: Moving toward the Fourth Generation of Investment Promotion.
